Here's my new Pioneer stereo (sitting upside-down). The wiring harness eliminates the need to permanently alter the Jeep's wiring, however I had to put together the harness by combining the connector supplied by Pioneer with extra connectors that I bought to match the existing Chrysler wiring. I had to match the wire colors and then solder and use heat-shrink tubing around all of the connections.
