I have a 1999 Jeep Wrangler Sahara that I bought new when I first moved to Seattle. When I moved to Austin at the end of 2000, I drove it 2500 miles to get there. In summer 2008, I drove it on a 4500 mile roadtrip.

[edit] Mileage

Passed 50,000 miles in December 2008.
Passed 50,000 miles in December 2008.

Each time I refill my tank, I make a note of my current mileage on my gas receipt so that I can record the details later in a spreadsheet. This allows me to compute my mileage over every tank I've ever driven.

I generally get between 16 and 20 mpg. The EPA window sticker that originally came with my Jeep claims 16 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway, so I'm pretty much in-line with those values.

In December 2008, my Jeep passed a milestone of 50,000 miles after driving it for about 9.5 years.
